A home, thoughtfully transformed
When you walk into Whitney's House, you're not walking into a daycare facility — you're walking into a home that's been thoughtfully transformed into a living, breathing learning environment. Every detail is chosen with your child in mind.
A walk through the house

The Classroom (Main Living Space)
The entire downstairs living area is our Montessori classroom. Every table and chair is sized for little hands and growing bodies — everything here belongs to them. Shelves hold age-appropriate materials from infant through kindergarten readiness, and mirrors let children observe themselves as they play and explore.
The Kitchen & Dining Room
Active parts of our day, not rooms to pass through. Stools at every sink let children wash their hands independently, rinse produce, or help with simple food prep. The dining table becomes a cooking station or craft table. Children set the table, pour their own drinks, and clean up — opportunities to feel capable.
Nap & Sleep Space (Upstairs)
Our sleep sanctuary — dim, quiet, with continuous white noise. Little ones rest in pack and plays or cots, warmly bundled and completely separated from the activity below. Toddlers who no longer nap rest on cots, look at books, and transition into quiet independent work. Every child's rest rhythm is respected.

The Garage
A fully set up bonus room and one of the kids' favorite spots — a big open hangout with an indoor climbing structure, a living room area with a TV, and buckets of cars, trains and tracks, and pretend play materials. When the weather isn't cooperating, it becomes our covered outdoor classroom.
The Backyard
A full outdoor play environment. A trampoline that sits just 18 inches off the ground — safe even for the youngest kids — plus a mud kitchen and dedicated mud pit for digging and pouring without limits. On water days: splash pads, pools, water tables, and every kind of pouring material. Outside every morning and every afternoon, weather permitting.

What to expect as a family
Payment
Tuition is due monthly and guarantees your reserved spot regardless of attendance. As a single-income household, timely payment is essential — please make sure childcare costs fit comfortably in your budget before enrolling.
Pick-Up
All children must be picked up by 5:30 pm. This policy is firm — I'm a mom too, and our evenings matter.
Illness
Please keep your child home for fever of 100°F+, vomiting or diarrhea, an undiagnosed rash, or any illness that prevents participation. I'm comfortable giving medications — a doctor's note is required for prescriptions.
Communication
Enrolled families are added to a private WhatsApp group for photos and daily updates, can follow our location on outings, and meet with me roughly every three months to discuss your child's development.
What to keep here
Diapers & wipes (if applicable), 4–6 full changes of clothes with socks, an extra hoodie and rain/winter jacket, rain/winter boots and waterproof sneakers or Crocs, sun hat and sunglasses, pacifier or lovey, any lotions or sunscreens used at home, swim trunks and rash guard, medications or EpiPens, and a helmet.
Emergencies on outings
I always leave prepared: lollipops and stickers to keep kids calm in any unexpected situation, a wagon that fits all children if we need to evacuate quickly, and photos of each child and all emergency contacts in the car for emergency services.
